Norland Nanny & Maternity Nurse

I have had a passion for childcare for as long as I can remember from babysitting in my teenage years to deciding to undertake the intensive training provided by the prestigious Norland College. As I have grown professionally, I have felt a particular push towards supporting families as they prepare for, and begin their journey as new parents. I do still work with toddlers and older children at events and on an ad-hoc basis but my primary focus is on supporting parents from conception to toddlerhood, as this is a critical period and an important foundation for not only childhood but the entirety of a person’s life. 

There are many ways that I work to support parents and families however currently I focus on offering Maternity Nurse services, this is where I essential join a family and accompany them through the early days of parenthood, providing space for rest, recovery and most importantly bonding.

In my personal time and during quieter periods, I am involved with my local Fostering Agency, providing respite care for children of all ages and all backgrounds, this is something that I find enormously rewarding and that really encourages me in my passion for supporting children and their families. 

I also volunteer with my local NCT branch, leading walk & talk sessions that are a great source of support to new families. 

Because of my training and background in nannying, I offer a completely holistic service that includes cooking, light housekeeping support as well as providing occasional care for older siblings and pets.
